With an intrigue for reality television, I’ve always been drawn to how something is made, looking at it from producer’s point-of-view. I thrive not with just providing the creative direction for your brand but with getting my hands dirty, and poking behind-the-scenes to navigate all the details alongside you.

Breaking that fourth wall allows me to authentically understand what is working for you and identify the areas of improvement to optimize your business, acting as your Brand’s partner providing creative direction and assets along every step of the way. l like to think with both sides of my brain–not only identifying, planning and scheduling your needs but also creating, designing and producing your brand’s entire set of creative (like if an Account Manager and Art Director combined, that’s me!). No matter what phase you are in the process, whether it’s a new concept ready to be developed, a fresh product ready for launch, an existing brand that needs a new direction or a tired one that needs to be told how to freshen up–I’m a pro at jumping in to help wherever and however it’s needed.

With over a decade in the industry, I’m armed with experience working in both in-house marketing teams and full-service advertising agencies. I have worked on a range of branding and development projects, creating immersive campaigns, building integrated websites, designing robust packaging systems, crafting content calendars, developing brand strategies, marketing plans and briefs and so much more.

I am looking to make connections, bring brands to life, create projects I’m proud of and bring creative insights to your business.

So don't be shy. Let's get in touch!

EXPERIENCE

Creative Director/Owner Full-Time for 2 Years / Part-Time for 10+ Years

Collaborate with clients, agencies, and brands directly to review, guide and lead the creative direction and provide insight and build systems to help maintain, build or launch their business. I use my 10 years of industry experience working with agencies, in-house and consulting positions to be able to meet my clients where they are and provide creative services including branding, digital design, collateral design, packaging development, brand strategy and of course overarching creative direction by the hour, package or retainer. With the ability to break the fourth wall on all things marketing, I can begin, jump in or finish their project to completion, often handing over the keys to maintain these systems and optimize our work together, awaiting each phase as they level up and need more support. I continuously act as their internal Brand Consultant and Creative Director to help systemize their work and optimize their promotion, communication strategy, partnership relations, and design systems along the way so they feel confident and focused running their business.

Senior Brand Manager 3 Years

Coastal Collection of Hospitality Businesses including: Pelican Brewing Company (4 locations), Headlands Coastal Lodge & Spa, Inn at Cape Kiwanda, Hart's Camp, Open Nest Vacation Rentals and Stimulus Coffee + Bakery

Responsible for designing, directing, and growing the brand and marketing vision, assets and output across all of the 7 unique brands and properties within the Family of Companies. I hired, built and managed the internal marketing team and closely collaborated across operations and development teams to execute the overarching vision, and manage external vendor and partner relationships. I led and produced the brand visuals and communication points for each entity (including all web, email, experience packages, blog, social, environmental, campaign, print, packaging design systems, etc), providing overall vision and creative direction to new content shoots produced across campaigns, new project builds, new brands, and determined overarching content calendars and rhythms needed to maintain and grow each brand audience. I assisted the Senior Leadership Team with marketing strategies, brand and business direction, and was responsible for creating yearly marketing plans with detailed guest experience flows, pitches for new retail space, campaign directions, routine competitor and customer analysis, to help guide the creative direction.

Brand Manager / Graphic Designer 5 Years

As I rose to the Brand Manager position, I combined my designer focus with my project management ability to lead the client relations and work output while creating directly and collaborating within the agency to produce their full scale of hospitality brand and promotion work, as it came. Understanding the client's full scope of work allowed me to predict upcoming needs and maintain consistent brand messaging and visuals to ensure the right assets were being created, shared and promoted at the correct time. I also regularly met and presented to the clients ownership and senior management teams to maintain connections, monitor progress and deliver fresh creative concepts. I provided art direction and insight during the planning process, then organized, coordinated and produced visual materials for these services. This often included branding development, creating packaging and labels, building vendor and partner relations, print and environmental pieces for the overall guest experience and designing and producing websites, email and social digital assets to see our campaigns through from start to finish.

Junior Designer 1 Year

As the creative intern for Fred Meyer’s customer communication department, I was tasked with curating, designing and executing the entire Holiday campaign. I worked within their creative approval process to submit, make changes, review mockups in store, work with the production team, craft guides and help create all of the 200+ assets and visual displays needed for over 50 Fred Meyer stores, making sure they landed with plenty of time for instruction and assembly. Throughout my internship, I also shadowed other buying, planning and marketing departments to understand the full scope of retail operation within the business as well as assist my Creative Director manager with photoshoot planning, casting calls, food styling, model selection and showcased and presented my entire collection of work to the key stakeholders at the end of the internship.

She can play in both the creative and analytical side of the brand, which leads to creating impactful creative and marketing that connects with the target consumer.“

    - Natalie Fields, Senior Marketing Manager at Care Access

  • "I worked with Bri on our company's re-brand which included graphic/logo work and a complete website build. She was thoughtful in her discovery phase, asking thought provoking questions. She communicated promptly and thoroughly throughout the process, and the final results were beyond our expectations. She goes above and beyond what you'd expect from a design agency. I have seen her work around brands in Oregon and am proud to be in her portfolio."

    - Andy Elliott, President of Spectrum Prototype

  • “Bri brings focused enthusiasm to the team! It is clear when starting a project that she has done her research. She encourages original ideas and allows the space for ideas to be thought out authentically, while magically keeping the team on track. I worked with her and her team for a product campaign - I learned so much, we churned out a remarkable number of assets, and it didn't feel like work. Bri brings out the best that people have to offer, and will be successful on any team on any project.

    - Cat Wiest, Copywriting Manager at Yakima Chief Hops

  • “Bri was very easy to work with and guided us through the process from concept to print, was highly responsive and quick with turnaround, set us up with a great printer to get our cards made, and she takes direction like a true professional. The company management was impressed. All-around Fourth Wall Creative is great to work with, and we will be using her again in the future”
