Stay True to You
Prevention Campaign Branding, Awareness Campaign & Website Design
In the spring of 2016, the Oregon Legislature passed a law that directed the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) to create a pilot program for preventing marijuana use among young people—meaning, younger than 21. Lawmakers set aside money for OHA to launch a public awareness campaign which Coates Kokes was tasked with. I was the designer on the campaign, creating the look & feel, logo, brand standards, and layouts of all deliverables including digital, print, outdoor, social, event collateral and website design. I was tasked with creating a relevant campaign to target teens in an authentic way by communicating our research through education on current laws, possible consequences and health effects. We did this by focusing on the importance of finding and developing yourself because, as a teen there are already so many distractions and obstacles along the way.
